Calling All Golfers! Fourteen Courses in Four Different Idaho Regions


Golfers come from all over to play the award winning golf courses we have here in Idaho. The Idaho Department of Commerce has put together a convenient guide called the Idaho Golf Trail. Map out your trip using any one of the four golf loops or go on a true golfing adventure by visiting all fourteen courses in the state. 

The 14-course Trail covers four scenic loops and includes destination courses like the Coeur d’Alene Resort, Circling Raven, Sun Valley Resort and Teton Springs.



Northern

Circling Raven
At 7,189 yards, the par 72 championship layout meanders through 620 acres, with only 100 representing cultivated ground.

Coeur d’Alene
Home of the Floating Green, the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course is nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains on the shores of beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Stone Ridge
Completely redesigned in 2001 by Frank Burandt, formerly of Nicklaus Design Group, the course features 6,684 yards of Kentucky Blue Grass with Bent Grass greens.

University of Idaho
Nestled among the rolling hills of the Palouse, this unique course is challenging, offering a variety of shots from uneven lies to elevated and recessed greens.



Central

Jug Mountain Ranch
You can enjoy wonderful alpine links while taking in gorgeous panoramic views of Jughandle Mountain, the Ranch’s natural wetlands and old growth forests.

Meadow Creek
Conveniently located in the heartland of Idaho, 13 miles north of McCall, it is an easy drive from both southern and northern Idaho and makes the perfect stopover.

Tamarack
A golf experience unlike any other awaits you at Osprey Meadows at Tamarack Resort, ranked #1 Course in Idaho by Golfweek’s 2008 & 2009 Best Courses You Can Play list.

Whitetail
The very definition of a mountain masterpiece. Designed by two-time U.S. Open winner Andy North, the course is carved through dense forest, towering pines and sweeping meadows.



Southern

Banbury
Banbury Golf Club provides golfers with a rare opportunity to explore one of Idaho’s Top 10 Golf Courses, as rated by Golf Digest.

Falcon Crest
With majestic vistas of the Boise Valley and surrounding mountains and a course design that blends the natural terrain with water, grass, sand and stone; each hole is a one-of-a-kind experience.

Sun Valley
Sun Valley Resort offers world-class amenities and three courses with 45 holes including Trail Creek, White Clouds and Elkhorn.



Eastern

Pinecrest
Surrounded by open skies and pine trees, the course was developed with small greens and slightly sloped hills. Sand bunkers protect a few greens making a great experience for golfers.

Teton Reserve
Featuring excellent bunkering, outstanding conditions and a specially developed grass blend called Teton Blue; the course fits beautifully and naturally into its surroundings.

Teton Springs
Anchored by the 18-Hole Headwaters Course, this private club, welcomes guests of Teton Springs Resort, and offers something for everyone.




These regions also features some of the small lodging facilities that are part of the "Idaho Bed & Breakfast Association"
