Southwestern Idaho is More Than Just Wine


We know...hard to imagine, but Idaho is more than just wine.

The Idaho Wine Commission's new tongue in cheek campaign to let people know that Idaho is more than wine has been a big hit. You can check out the fun video they created here:


All kidding aside, Idaho does produce some good wine! Since it is the Holiday season, the gift of Idaho wine might be just the thing for the hard to buy for person or why not take them on a winery tour? You can find all the wineries that are in the state here, Idaho Wines, but here are ones you can find in Southwestern Idaho if you are traveling in that area. Just be sure to have a designated driver to get you back to your lodging.

Come Winter in Idaho and Get Your Vitamin ID


Idaho is a popular winter destination for skiers and boarders with 18 ski areas located in all regions of the state. The typical season begins mid/late November and ends mid April to early May. Approximately 1.6 million skiers and snowboarders visit Idaho ski areas annually.  There are 28,000 vertical feet, 20,000 skiable acres and a wide array of Nordic trails, terrain parks, cat ski trails, heli-ski opportunities and tubing hills.
