"Life is Gourdeous" Idaho Gourd Society 16th Annual Festival

You can rest assured you will not be "bored out of your gourd" if you attend this event! 

Join the Idaho Gourd Society for a fun filled weekend! Watch gourd art demonstrations. Check out all of the gourds submitted for the Judged Gourd Competition and those that are on Exhibit.

Browse the gourd store where you might find some "gourdeous" decorations for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

You can win Raffle prizes; plus gourds and gourd art related items will be on sale throughout the event.

Saturday is filled with half and full-day classes. 
Sunday will feature several fun, quick “Make it and Take it” classes!

New this year The “Shekere Shakers” will be performing at the Saturday banquet.

You do not need to be a member of the Idaho Gourd Society to attend. The public is welcome. 

Whether you are new to gourds or a gourd master there will be something for everyone!

Beaux Cadeaux at The Art Museum of Idaho

Nestled among the Rocky Mountains in the Snake River Plain it is a place worth exploring. With western hospitality, a booming economic base, a diverse arts community and a backyard filled with recreational opportunities; Idaho Falls is a great place for business and destination travel.

One of those events that showcases the diverse arts community is the Beaux Cadeaux. It is a three-day shopping extravaganza featuring work by the region’s most talented artisans and unique new merchandise in the Art Museum of Idaho's Studio Store. 

The Beaux Cadeaux is a favorite Idaho Falls event, bringing contemporary crafts from talented artisans to this free community event. A variety of jewelry, pottery, ceramics, photography, painting, clothing and much more, all handmade in America, will be on display.  At this show, you can find beautiful one-of-a-kind craftwork displayed by their originators at price ranges to suit every budget.

When: Nov. 5-6, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sat., Nov. 7, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 2009
