Grand Teton Endurance Race

The Yellowstone - Teton Endurance Race

2012 is the inaugural running of the 100 and 50 mile road races along the spectacular road that traverses Yellowstone National Park along the beautiful scenic by-way to the doorstep of Grand Teton National Park. The dates for the race are October 6 & 7.

The 100 mile course will start just outside West Yellowstone, with the 50 mile course starting along that route. Both courses will follow the stunning Yellowstone-Teton Scenic Loop and end in Driggs, ID.

Are you an Endurance Runner?

Registration fees are $95 for an individual in the 50-mile run, $195 for an individual in the 100-mile run and $750 for a team in the 100-mile relay. Register online at the Dreamchasers Outdoor Adventures website; they are the host of the event.

By the way, there is a new relay division this year! Put together your own dream team of runners to cover this scenic course. You can have as many people on your team as you want up to a maximum of 6.

Endurance Race Rules & Regulations

Race Directors: Lisa Smith-Batchen and Dave Carder

Race Start: West Yellowstone, Montana

Race Finish: Driggs, Idaho

Pre-Race meeting: required for all runners. 7:00 PM Friday (location TBA). 5:30 AM Saturday (at race starting lines): for those arriving late on Friday.

Course Description: The 100-mile race starts in West Yellowstone and the 50-mile race starts at mile 51 of the 100-mile course. This is a road race that primarily follows the beautiful Scenic By-way from Yellowstone National Park to the doorstep of Teton National Park.
