Northern Rockies Folk Festival

The family friendly two-day, music festival boasts local food vendors, a raffle, and a huge children’s play ground. With affordable tickets at $35, $25 and $15, you can't afford to miss it!

Background on the Northern Rockies Folk Festival

The festival began as a small community center event in 1977. Today, it has grown into a two-day concert, jam-packed with talent culled from the Wood River Valley, as well as regional and national music scenes. The Northern Rockies Folk Festival also supports young musicians by always making room on the stage for up-and-coming bands with local ties, student musicians, and “tweeners” who are local musicians given 15-minutes during stage set changes.

Why would I want to go to a folk festival?

Held in Hailey, Idaho, the concert site is tucked against the Big Wood River, at the base of Carbonate Ridge. Attendees walk and ride their bikes to the venue. Many bring a picnic meal. Soak up some sun, dance, listen to music, and maybe even take a dip in the Big Wood River during band breaks. The Northern Rockies Folk Festival is exactly what you want a summer concert to be: a place where music lovers can have a great time in a safe and healthy environment.
