Hagerman Fossil Days

Hagerman Idaho Fossil Days

This event is a weekend full of old-fashioned, small-town family fun in the Hagerman Valley. Running Friday, May 27th through Sunday, May 29th in Hagerman, Idaho, Hagerman Fossil Days is a celebration of the Idaho State Fossil, Equus simplicidens, and one of the riches fossil deposits in the State of Idaho.

The Hagerman City Park offers ongoing musical entertainment and dancing, lots of good food, craft vendors and games for children. Each year, Friday night features live entertainment on stage for the whole family. A parade is held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday as well. Other festivities include a carnival, street fair and tours of the Hagerman Paleontology Lab.
